egrips® technology is a proprietary, patent pending composite material designed to provide grip and prevent slippage.  The egrips® technology material is a soft silicone elastomer bonded to a dimensionally stable thin film material.  The unique dimpled surface structure and high coefficient of friction of the silicone material provide incredible gripping power without stickiness.  The silicone elastomer bonds to the film due to the uniquely created chemistries of the two materials.  A printed label is then laminated to the film.  The label is printed on an HP Indigo digital printer in CMYK colours.  Printing on the label is protected beneath the layer of silicone elastomer and cannot be rubbed off.

The total thickness of the product is less than 0.50 millimetres.  The base printed laminate has an adhesive backing than can be formulated to secure the egrips® appliqué to virtually any surface.  The adhesive used is strong enough to keep egrips® appliqués from creeping, yet can be removed easily without leaving a residue.  Originally developed for the portable electronics market, the egrips® technology material has unique gripping qualities that make it suitable for numerous applications across all industries.
